Our Programs

Hemophilia of Iowa has various programs to enrich and to continue encouraging those with a bleeding disorder and their family and friends

first steps

This is a time for networking and education for those with children that are similar in age to your child with a bleeding disorder. This event is  for families with first step aged children that have a bleeding disorder, their parents and siblings.

Travel grant

Hemophilia of Iowa is excited to offer the community an opportunity to attend Washington Days, the NHF Annual Meeting or the HFA Symposium. All great educational opportunities that can help your community!

Young adult program

This program is geared to build a community of young adults and teens who are interested in developing leadership skills, become more independent and empowered, develop a support system of peers, and of course, to have fun!

January 2019

Without this summer camp program, my son would never have had the courage to stick someone or even be excited about sticking himself.
