Hemophilia of Iowa is grateful for the opportunity to provide events for the community. All fund and proceeds received goes towards providing these opportunities to the Bleeding Disorder Community.

Hill Day

WHEN: February 27 & 28
WHERE: Embassy Suites in Des Moines, IA

Constituents and families talk with legislators at Iowa’s Capitol in Des Moines providing them education about bleeding disorders and current issues. Prior to Iowa’s Hill Day we provide information on current or future issues. We will be meeting Wednesday, February 27 for dinner and training before Hill Day on Thursday.

Join Hemophilia of Iowa at our 2019 Hill Day. We will be meeting and discussing important topics with legislators as well as observing a formal proclamation by Gov Kim Reynolds declaring March as Bleeding Disorder month.

Community Education Weekend
Renamed from Annual Education Weekend

WHEN: Saturday, March 23 & Sunday, March 24
Where: MarriotT Center in Cedar Rapids, IA

Annual weekend conference for HOI members and families. Providing educational opportunities focused on the bleeding disorder community and other obstacles one may face. This is a networking opportunity for both parents and kids of all ages.

This family friendly event has something for all to enjoy while critical funds for HOI’s Scholarship Program. We invite scholarship recipients to sell tickets to add to their personal scholarship.
