Mission: To provide education and support for people with bleeding disorders and their family and friends.

 
Teen & Young Adult Retreat TBA 

​The fall overnight out will provide teens & young adults with a chance to explore the outdoors including some fun zip lining!  In addition to all the outdoor FUN we will also have Chris Bombardier in our company from Gut Monkey.  Chris just summitted Mt. Everest.  He will have some AMAZING experiences to share with all of us.  Some of hope, encouragement and fear.  We invite teens & young adults with bleeding disorders and/or siblings of those with bleeding disorders that are Freshman in high school through age 20! 



Cost: $10 per person


Parents are welcome to come on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to enjoy lunch and hear Chris Bombardier talk of his Mt. Everest Summit experiences with your child.  


​Event Details

Chris Bombardier, will join the Hemophilia Foundation of Iowa’s Teen & Young Adult Kick Off Program for a power packed 24 hours of learning and practicing new outdoor skills together.  This will be a time for those in similar ages and experiences to come together and enjoy a safe place to talk, fun gut monkey games, simple ziplining and much more! 

What to Bring
Warm and cold Clothes, Sleeping bag, Pillow, towel, toothbrush/toothpaste, walking shoes, sun screen, and water bottle. FACTOR
